Improving Quantum Search on Simple Graphs by Pretty Good Structured Oracles

چکیده
Quantum search algorithms provide a way to speed up combinatorial search, and have found several applications in modern quantum technology. In particular, spatial on graphs, based continuous-time walks (CTQW), represents promising platform for the implementation of condensed matter systems. CTQW-based algorithms, however, work exactly complete while they are known perform poorly realistic graphs with low connectivity. this paper, we put forward an alternative algorithm, structuring oracle operator, which allows one improve localization properties walker by tuning only on-site energies graph, i.e., without altering its topology. As such, proposed algorithm is suitable systems connectivity, e.g., rings dots or superconducting circuits. Oracle parameters determined Hamiltonian constraints, need numerical optimization.

Pretty Good State Transfer on Circulant Graphs
Let G be a graph with adjacency matrix A. The transition matrix of G relative to A is defined by H(t) := exp (−itA), where t ∈ R. The graph G is said to admit pretty good state transfer between a pair of vertices u and v if there exists a sequence of real numbers {tk} and a complex number γ of unit modulus such that lim k→∞ H(tk)eu = γev. We find that the cycle Cn as well as its complement Cn a...
متن کاملQuantum Search on Structured Problems
This paper shows how a basic property of unitary transformations can be used for meaningful computations. This approach immediately leads to search-type applications, where it improves the number of steps by a square-root-a simple minded search that takes steps, can be improved to approximately steps. The quantum search algorithm is one of several immediate consequences of this framework. Sever...
متن کاملThe Bayesian Learner is Optimal for Noisy Binary Search (and Pretty Good for Quantum as Well)
We use a Bayesian approach to optimally solve problems in noisy binary search. We deal with two variants: • Each comparison is erroneous with independent probability 1− p. • At each stage k comparisons can be performed in parallel and a noisy answer is returned. We present a (classical) algorithm which solves both variants optimally (with respect to p and k), up to an additive term of O(loglog ...

A theory of topological gravity is a homotopy-theoretic representation of the Segal-Tillmann topologification of a two-category with cobordisms as morphisms. This note describes a relatively accessible example of such a thing, suggested by the wall-crossing formulas of Donaldson theory. 1. Gravity categories A cobordism category has manifolds as objects, and cobordisms as morphisms. Such catego...

Code voting seeks to address the issues of privacy and integrity for Remote Internet Voting. It sidesteps many of the inherent vulnerabilities of the Internet and client platforms but it does not provide end-to-end verification that votes are counted as cast. In this paper, we propose a simple technique to enhance the verifiability of code voting by ensuring that the Vote Server can only access...
